PRE-ACT first annual general Meeting

October 4, 5 and 6 2023 saw the 1st PRE-ACT AGM take place at the European Union offices (Spazio Europa) in Rome. Attending both in person and virtually; over 30 people made up from our PRE-ACT consortium (6 world-leading research partners, 2 SMEs, 1 radiotherapy institute, 1 hospital network, patient representatives and external advisor), from six countries: Greece, France, UK, Italy, Netherlands, and Switzerland were hospitably hosted by CNR.

The three-day meeting allowed the opportunity for the consortium to meet face to face, present progress on each of the critical work packages, and collectively agree a programme of work for the coming year. The event was opened by both project Co-ordinators Professor Chris Talbot (University of Leicester) and Professor Iordanis Koutsopoulos (AUEB-RC) who strongly emphasised how crucial the coming year would be in ensuring the project delivers against its critical path objectives and was concluded with feedback from our patient representative Cheryl Roumen and external advisor Professor Andrea Damiani who noted ‘the project was taking a very good approach’.
